Wear these colorful and joyful socks to honor St. Matthew, who began his journey as a tax collector; the most hated profession in the time of Christ. While working in a collection booth, Christ called to Matthew with the simple words, “Follow me.” With this, Matthew became a disciple and the writer of the first Gospel.  The soles read “Holy Matthew, Pray for Us,” in Hebrew, believed to the original language in which Matthew wrote his Gospel so that he could speak directly to the Jews. The colorful design includes and Matthew at the collections table and Roman coins as a reminder that we are all made new in Christ, because of His mercy and love. An Inspirational, faithful, and fun gift for Catholics who love the Faith and the saints. Collect them all.
